New Templates in Store

I haven't been around for a couple days. I had a procedure done on my face. I had a couple spots that had to be removed and a biopsy done on them. Well, it was a lot harder than I thought and I had an allergic reaction to some meds they gave me. My face is swollen and looks so horrible. I have been sleeping since I got home. I have been up for a bit and then down again. I'm still not feeling right and my face is still very swollen, but I'm getting there. I've been the butt of many jokes in this house. My lil man told me I looked way scary and even more scary than a monster at Halloween (ya... that feels great) lol! I have heard a lot. But it's in good fun and doesn't bother me. I'll get even. LOL!

New Nervous Veggies & Fruit Templates in Store

I'm off to get a small surgery on my face today. I'm a little nervous, which explains my newest templates. LOL! I have some fruits and veggies with a worried look on each. I actually ended up liking the nervous looks. Makes me think of them being nervous about not getting picked when the farmer comes to harvest the garden.

Happy Pepper and Tomato Template Set and a Freebie

I have to say, today has remained fairly mellow. I had to help make dinner, but other than that, I haven't had to do much. Tomorrow is going to be busier and Wed I won't be around much. I have to have some skin testing to make sure it's not cancer. I am sure it's not, but still... I'm nervous. I'm ignoring it though by doing design work. It helps calm my mind.

Good Morning! I hope you're having a great day. Today has been as relaxing as I'd hoped. Well, so far anyway. Everything could change the moment school is out. LOL!

I was able to sit and watch TV while I designed. I made a template set and have another I'd like to start. I have to quit for a bit though so we can run to the school to pick up my little man. He doesn't like school at all. But he's got to learn to deal with it because he has many years left. Poor lil man!

New Monsters Under the Bed Template

I couldn't sleep so I decided to make another template. I'm going to be so tired tomorrow, but it was fun to design without interruptions. :)

This template was inspired by my son. He was always afraid of the monsters under the bed. He's not anymore. He's too "big" for that. LOL! But it was inspired by the memory of him being scared. He doesn't have a brother, but it was something that I felt it needed!

I'm heading to bed now. We'll see if I can sleep now! Wish me luck. LOL!

I hope you've had a great weekend. We've had a nice one. I went to my sister's house for a baby shower. That was fun. We also helped a friend can. Boy, I have done a lot of that lately. LOL! Monday is going to be a relaxing day for me. (I can dream can't I?)

New Templates in Store

I haven't really been around this past couple days. We've been finishing up canning here. We did another 30 quarts of marinara & salsa for a cousin who's 8 months pregnant with her 5th child, so there's no way she can do hers. So she gave us her tomatoes, peppers and bottles and we did it for her. Now we have to clean the kitchen again. I think this is the last time we'll have to do canning this year. But, it is nice to feel like you've helped someone who can't do it themselves.

Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great Friday and have fun things planned for this weekend. We're going out of town, but not for a vacation. We're going to work. We're cleaning up after construction. We'll, not a lot of cleaning. But we're still going to work. I am actually looking forward to it. I think it will be beautiful there and my lil man can play outside chasing lizards and chipmunks. He loves doing that!

My family has a motor home that is begging to be retired. The poor thing keeps breaking down, doesn't look good at all and is pretty much seen better days. We keep limping it along though. I created this template to see what it might have looked like before it started falling apart. lol!

Good Monday morning. I hope you're relaxed from a fun weekend. I'm finally relaxing after helping to put up marinara, salsa, corn and soup base this weekend. As soon as I get this done I will help clean up the kitchen. Tonight I am making tomato soup using the soup base we made. I love tomato soup so I'm looking forward to it. I might make some homemade croutons to go with it. Nothing like homemade food (especially when you've grown the food or baked it yourself) :)

I made a couple more templates. I am trying to get back into the Halloween mood. Usually I love Halloween, but this year I can't seem to get my head wrapped around it. Maybe when it gets closer I'll get more excited.

I couldn't sleep last night. I was up until after 4:45 AM. I was up by 7:30 (the dogs won't let me sleep in past then. They  climb on the bed and start whining and putting their faces against mine until I'm up. Oh, and did I mention they are huge dogs?) I am hoping I can get a nap in.

Well, I did put my time alone (when I couldn't sleep), to good use. I made a couple more templates. I'm not sure why I switched gears and made a couple summer themed templates. Maybe it was because I was so cold last night and was thinking about warmer weather. I'm fickle I guess. I want the colder weather until I get too cold. And it's not quite fall yet. LOL!

Happy Saturday! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend so far. We've been canning all weekend. Yesterday I helped with the corn. It was fun (but I was sneaking as much as I was putting in the bags) lol! Today we did marinara. We did a lot. We so far made 22 quarts and 5 pints. We already made salsa. We did around 20 quarts and 11 pints. (We all love salsa in this house). We are going to make tomato basil soup base tomorrow. After that we'll have to spend a whole day cleaning the kitchen. YUCK! lol.

It's been a couple days since I've put in new items and posted. It's been a busy week here. It's almost the weekend and I'm excited for it. I have plans this weekend and hope I can keep them. I want to do some cooking (I am still going to culinary school but am taking a break for now). I miss cooking. It will be fun. I also want to do some designing. Of course... that's something I love a lot too! :) My lil man will be with his dad for part of the weekend, but he'll be here too and I want to have some fun with him as well.

Halloween, Fall & Thanksgiving Templates in Store

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a nice time. We went camping. It's the last time we will go before it gets cold. I love camping, but I sure love coming home to my own bed.
After cleaning up I decided I missed designing so I sat down and made a turkey template. I made the other two on Friday before I left, but didn't have time to post about them before we left.
